I've lived here for a year and just renewed my lease for another year. My rent increase was less than $20, even after taxes! Most places will try to take you to the cleaners to renew. Purely on a dollar-per-square-foot basis the rent is pretty competitive, and that doesn't count the garage you get.
Unlike some other reviewers I read my full lease before signing, asked about the common area charges and the front office staff was very helpful in explaining them to me. They've recently installed a dog park, just finished demolishing the front office/fitness room with the intent to redo it bigger and better, so I feel like my money is going somewhere useful. All of my maintenance requests have been taken care of quickly. I've been through three management companies here, and the latest (Alliance) seems committed to staying and improving the place. I have nothing bad to say about them.
If I have to say one negative thing about this place, it's that stepping off the sidewalk into a grassy area usually means stepping into dog poop. That's not really different than, say, any park in Tempe though. I'd strongly recommend this place.
